MLP Solar Flare Custom

My version of Princess Celestia's evil alter as a brushable custom.
For the 2nd time I tried the swirl paint technique that I used on Ice Swirl. This time with yellow, orange, and red to make it look like what you see in closeup images of the sun. The wing detail is hand painted though.

Her hair is a mix of Dollyhair Lemonade, Pomme D' Amour, and Passion Fruit (which is a gorgeous yellow orange that has a shimmer to it). I made it a bit wavy by sandwiching it between AA batteries before I put the boiling water on it (don't have curlers).

Her neck armor is made from sheet plastic molded with boiling water to make it round, with a plastic gem in the middle. Both it and her shoes are painted with gold leaf paint.
