New Lunar Republic Army Flag by lonewolf3878 New Lunar Republic Army Flag by lonewolf3878
Update: Added the "This We'll Defend" slogan to it.

And here's the Army one to round out my 4 NLR armed forces flags (not sure if I'll do a coast guard one or not).

The wing and moon logo is by :iconmakkon: .

A Republic... is kinda an army in itself.... also WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP CHANGING THE NLR's SYMBOL!!!

It hasn't been changed. Makkon made thw wing, moon, and star logo long before any other NLR one popped up. I just added stuff to it to represent the branch of military.

Well as its kinda almost impossible to tell who's was "first" This is generally the Logo Associated with the NLR

Various alterations have shown up over the years representing different "Branches" but many of the said alterations outright ignore the base logo... I didn't mean you in particular.

Also... you may want to note that

a Republic refers to a nation ruled by the People, not any specific ruler (its like anarchy but with more rules involved)
what this means is that a "Branch" of "government" including a military would not actually be called such

just one of the many reasons I don't see why some people think the NLR is putting Luna in power, when it's really just a resistance/revolution leading me to wonder if NLR should actually stand for one of the two

sorry got off topic

Is the resemblance to Islam iconography deliberate?

Nope. Those are US Calvary swords.

Looks pretty sick, though it would make more sense if it said "Republican", since the term republic would become a pseudo-adjective.
