Vinyl Scratch's FA-29 Thunderhoof

Now Vinyl has her own warplane.
This is a plane I came up with based on one used in his Stormrider fanfics. The main weapon of the plane is the "Storm Cannon" in the nose.

 Well Vinyl approached the NLR with the idea of putting a bass cannon in place of the storm cannon. After experimenting a working prototype was made.
But it wasn't enough for Vinyl, so in addition to the one in the nose, the W-200 Bass Cannon Pod was created. The size and power of the Thunderhoof allowed it to carry four of them, plus a support pod for additional power. The speaker on the cannon turns inward during flight to protect it like with the AN/AAQ-28 Litening pod.

 In tests performed at the NLRAF Badlands AFB, they were first fired at their lowest power of 20,000 watts. The result was a fairly effective airborne LRAD system. It was then tried at full power. NLR scientists determined the destructive power of the five cannons was equal to two Tactical Laser Systems as found on the ADF-01 Falken, though they covered a larger area than the TLS.  The force did slow down the aircraft by close to 100 knots, so it must be fired above 300MPH.

 Further testing will determine if the pods can be used on other aircraft.
